Dave Cooper -- Featured Cuer
Dave Cooper started cueing in 1997. He attended Beaver State Cuer's College and was instructed by Ray and Virginia Walz. He has been featured cuer at two Central Oregon Round Ups, three Klamath Falls Potato Festivals, and five Buckaroo Round Ups in Roseburg. He has been invited to be featured cuer three years at Baker City's Spring Fling and this will be his third stint as cuer for Oregon Summer Festival.
He has taught round dancing since 1998 in Central Oregon as well as Oregon's South Coast and Salem. Teaching is in fact Dave's favorite part of being a cuer/instructor but he does love to choreograph new dances and cue to a full floor of happy dancers. He has choreographed two songs which were selected as Oregon Round of the Month, Down Louisiana Way and Gotta Get Away. At the present time Dave cues for clubs in Central Oregon and around the state. Dave and his wife Patty are looking forward to a fun and fabulous time in Seaside.
